Diane Lohmeyer

Diane Lohmeyer grew up in California. Her family lived in several different communities and her early experiences on the road with them stimulated her curiosity for travel. They visited many national parks during family vacations around the USA, which inspired Diane to embrace the wonders of the natural world. When she was in the 5th grade, her parents decided to homeschool Diane and her sisters, and they all began an early track to higher education. Diane started her college degree in general studies at the age of 15.

 

6 years later, Diane worked at a resort property in San Diego, where she developed skills in customer service and began her career in travel and leisure. 25 years ago Diane got her first passport, and began traveling farther abroad with her husband. She quickly realized her natural abilities in trip planning and the pleasure derived from a well-executed voyage. 

 

In 2018 Diane opened her own business crafting luxury vacations for group travel. She took on all aspects of the first trip (curating, booking, and guiding), which included stops in Singapore, Borneo and Bali. The trip was a stunning success but unfortunately the global pandemic arrived shortly thereafter, and travel ground to a halt. Diane took advantage of the down time by expanding her knowledge of the travel industry. She sought additional training and consulted with other professionals and providers to really specialize in luxury cruises and expeditions.

 

Over the years Diane has set foot on 6 continents (Australia is still on her bucket list), and has visited more than 50 countries. Some of her most memorable experiences on the road include gorilla trekking through Uganda tea plantations and kayaking in Paradise Bay, Antarctica. Diane is committed to continuing her professional development to offer the most interesting and luxurious cruise and expedition options to her clients.
